WRCC 2018 is taking place at Tulista Park in Sidney, which is located on the Saanich Peninsula, at the southern end of Vancouver Island. Sidney is approximately 20 km north of Victoria. Choose your mode of transportation within Sidney and between Sidney and Victoria.


The venue is less than 1 km from downtown Sidney. Sidney is a compact town with all services, including hotels, within easy walking distance.


Largely flat terrain makes cycling an excellent option in the Sidney area. The Lochside Regional Bike Trail and other bike paths connect Swartz Bay (BC Ferry Terminal) and Sidney with downtown Victoria. It is about 25 scenic km to pedal between the two centres. Bikes can be rented from several locations in Sidney and Victoria.

Public Transportation

You can easily travel between Sidney and Victoria by bus #72 or #70 (express). They run approximately every half hour. Closest stops to the venue are #70 – Fifth at Beacon or #72 – Fifth at Ocean. Use the BC Transit trip planning tool to check current schedules. Bus fares in Victoria currently cost $2.50 for an adult, with discounted fares for seniors and youth. Tickets are single boarding. A day pass is $5 and offers an unlimited number of rides for that day.

Driving and Parking

Car rentals are available at Victoria airport, and in downtown Victoria. There is free parking along Lochside Drive (for 2 km south of the venue) change to ” There is free onstreet parking in the residential neighbourhoods surrounding the venue. Please do not park in the Mary Winspear Centre parking lot as it is reserved for patrons of the Sidney Fine Ars Show.”
